About us

Eat Stay Love Bulgaria

Eat Stay Love Bulgaria is a complete travel guide to Bulgaria with blogs, news and personal recommendations!

Our one-line pitch is...
We create online information portals for expats and independent travellers. We're in our early stage covering Bulgaria, but aim to expand globally and offer the ultimate travel app, a mock up of which has already been developed.

The core of our team...
Our co-founders are Nina Alexander and Rebecca Richardson: both travellers with many years background in sales and marketing. Nina is the tech and design brain behind the project and Rebecca is our people's person, always ready to charm readers and customers. Our team is based in Bulgaria.

Our office in looks like...
Our office is anywhere we are. As we are constantly on the go, we work from hotels, restaurants, bars, home and even from the car!

The person that inspires us most...
One of the people who inspires us the most is Sir Richard Branson and his never ending desire to innovate, as well as his unique ability to detect and solve problems that others seem to ignore.

About our journey so far.

Before we started we were...
Both our co-founders have always been travellers and lived as expats for many years, which definitely helped them understand what exactly needs to be created. Nina and Rebecca have gained marketing, sales and business experience on three continents and are now eagerly applying it in their business.

We received our initial capital through...
We have funded our business ourselves so far.

Our most difficult time so far was...
We do not believe in difficult times as we trust that every step of the way is an adventure and you either win or learn.

Our current development state is...

About little steps and big dreams.

Our next target is...
Our next target is expanding our platform to several different countries and developing our app (LocalBuddy).

If you say investment we say...
Yes. The app we are willing to launch has enormous potential with its freemium model and the concept behind it has actually already been tested and proved effective. We are looking for an investor which will help us speed up the process of developing and launching the app.

The one thing, we couldn't go on without is...
Success. As we aim to provide value, we are ready to adapt and listen to both our customers and partners in order to achieve it.

In five years we want to be...
In 5 years we see our business model expanded to 2 or 3 continents and able to give back to society.
