The Austrian startup webpunks, which runs the online fitness platform sportly, has secured a 100,000 euros funding from aws (Austria Wirtschaftsservice) as part of its ISC Innovative Service Call program. They are among 18 Austrian startups that received investments as part of the new aws program. In a strategic effort to drive forward innovation in the fitness and sports sector, CEO Ernst Molden and his team will use the investment to further develop sportly, where athletes and fitness enthusiasts can easily find, compare and book sports offers.
