Vienna-based Ruffboards has announced a 100.000 euros investment from AWS and the opening of their shop in Vienna. The team of three uses an upcycle approach to turn old snowboards into new, handmade longboards. On their platform, cusomers can make a photo of their old sports equipment and design their new one directly online. Ruffboards counts Julia Dujmovits, Snowboard-Olympics winnner of 2014, to its customers and has already worked with brands such as Red Bull.
