8th LAUCHub Long-Weekend coming up

LAUNCHub have been busy lately, especially after they announced open office hours every Monday to meet with prospective startups virtually or in person. Over the past two months, they shortlisted six companies for their next round of funding and will hear them pitch at the end of the Long Weekend, taking place from 5-7 February in Sofia.
The stakes
After three days of intensive work with the teams, including coaching and mentoring the LAUNCHub investment team will decide on the most promising projects to be offered investment of up to 200,000 euros.
The teams will have a chance to go home with some extra knowledge too for the Long Weekend will also include the first edition of a new series of events called FFGE (Founders’ Talks Fundraising Growth Exit). Focused on the local scene, the afternoon event dedicated to the road to fundraising, growth and exit will gather the founders of the most successful local startups, Bulgarians who are co-founders in the Silicon Valley and representatives of Bulgarian companies who have already made successful exits.
The teams
Founders of the teams come from all over CEE and beyond, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Serbia and Slovenia. The selection comprises products and solutions aimed at bridging technology in areas like football, house-management, office-planning and travel services, also mobile apps building technologies.
LAUNCHub’s portfolio now includes 50 startups from nine European countries, the latest investee on board being SlovenianKinestica within the healthtech sector, which is also one of the fund’s priority areas for investment.
