A Manual for Safe Water
Vienna based product designers taliaYsebastian – Talia Radford and Juan Sebastián Gómez – have dedicated themselves to finding alternatives to securing safe drinking water supplies in autarky mountainous regions.
After receiving funding via impulse, they teamed up with the NGOs Edge of Seven and The Small World in Nepal to develop products that positively impact the consumption of water. Originally from Spain and Colombia respectively, the designers with a social claim will publish their insights on securing water under a creative commons license next month.
The Drinking Water Manual 101 is a collection of basic instructions for handling different types of water, climate and geology. The comprehensive manual will made available to all people interested at the beginning of December.
