The US has developed much of what we now know to be the internet, but with vague or non-existent regulation, and India and China on the rise, the global tech scene has become more dispersed. Europe has been pioneering some of the most innovative and responsibly developed technology. The varied collection of countries between the Atlantic and the Urals hosts both some of the most competitive tech hubs in the world – London, Berlin, Paris – along with exciting developing regions – Prague, Estonia, Krakow – this, coupled with a population of over half a billion and one of the highest levels of disposable income in the world, creates an environment ripe for new ideas.
As the industry moves forward, ever progressing, developing, evolving at rates hitherto unknown to business, our aim is to document and report on the changes and movements in European tech. We’re here to talk in facts and truths, and to tell the stories of the entrepreneurs, businesses and investors as they navigate the often volatile landscape of the latest innovations.
