About Us

inventures.eu was founded in November 2011 and is your source for the startup scene in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). We look beyond the pitch and bring you the real deal: struggle for funding and never ending work days are as much part of the experience as the kicks you get out of making a difference and doing something you love. Focusing on the people behind the ideas, we show you why entrepreneurs have gone into business, how they have pulled it off, as well as the latest news from the scene.

Matthias Reisinger, Ondrej Gandel and Claudia Kaefer are the founders of inventures.eu and sold the company to ESPACIO Media Incubator in 2018. For the founders Matthias, Ondrej and Claudia, inventures.eu is already the second coup. In addition to inventures.eu, they have started their own companies and been a part of the CEE ecosystem for many years.

Today inventures.eu is comprised of entrepreneurs and editors from across multiple CEE countries. We live and dine with entrepreneurs. Call us a magazine, a community or a platform – inventures.eu is here to provide you with the insight scoop on the startup scene right around you.
