ADORA
Our one-line pitch is…
ADORA enables touchless presentation of patient’s information during surgical procedures by providing seamless natural user interface experience for physicians using Kinect sensor.
Introduce your team, and tell us one interesting thing about each member. We are…
Kristjan košič – spends time with his family. Sometimes he goes hiking and cycling in the mountains with his friends.
Andraž Leitgeb – in free time he designs flyers and broshures. He likes playing sport and hanging out with his friends.
Zedin Salkanović – He is developing WP and WinRT apps. He likes playing pool with his friends.
Matej Vogrinčič – in his free time he is learning how to fly a plane. He is interested in basically anything that flies.
We received our initial capital through…
The initial capital that got ADORA started came from ImagineCup where we won a prize for second place in innovation category. We were also very lucky, fortunate and proud for being selected for ImagineCup Grants award.
The real pain about starting a business in Slovenia is…
our bureaucracy.
The person that inspires us is…
Even though they don’t work in the same area as we do, but we are very much inspired by Pipistrel. They started as a small Slovenian company, but now they work together with some of the biggest companies and organisations in the world.
The one app/service that we couldn’t live without is…
Visual Studio (everything we code, we do it in VS).
The one thing we would save from our burning office is…
our flower 🙂
It’s ok, you can try next year (second in ImagineCup Slovenia) … Later that year we won a prize for second place in innovation category worldwide.
The one thing that will make us quit is…
Nothing! We will fail and fail again, until we succeed! Our mission is to make name ‘ADORA’ a synonym for advanced contact-free medical solutions, starting in Europe and later conquering the world. When surgeons will think of a vital member of a surgical team – they will say ‘ADORA’.
Our inside joke is…
Relax and do your work. Because sleep is for the weak.
You might not believe it, but we…
we had to rewrite a huge part of ADORA in two or three days after MS released (new) Kinect SDK 1.8 and we cursed them only few million times…
We’ll call ourselves successful when…
when we see a surgeon saving lives with the help of ADORA product.
The startup we really want to see on inventures’ Startup Pick is…
edgartells.me, a beautiful lightweight tool for creating digital stories.
