Apply now for Pirates on Shores: The Balkans
Bulgarian tech centre LAUNCHub is teaming up with the European Pirate Summit (EPS) to organise a one-day conference for local startups in Sofia on July 29. Pirates on Shores: The Balkans aims to be a warm-up event before the official summit that will take place in Cologne in August.
In addition to meeting investors, accelerators and international speakers, including Sitar Teli, Managing Partner of Connect Ventures and James Wise at Balderton Capital, Pirates on Shores is also an exciting occasion for Bulgarian and CEE teams to get selected for pitching during the official EPS on August 26th-27th in Cologne.
“As the Balkan area is becomingmore interesting in terms of its startup community and innovations, this event will be an excellent opportunity for all regional representatives of the startup ecosystem to get together and expose the area to more attention” LAUNCHub’s Marina Handjieva told inventures.eu.
Bringing together the European startup community for the past three years, the European Pirate Summit allows entrepreneurs to meet founders, VCs and business angels in a laid-back atmosphere while getting some valuable media exposure thanks to partnership with TechCrunch and the Next Web.
How to get on board
The event will be held in at Betahaus Sofia (56-58 Krum Popov Street), on Monday, July 29 from 6.00pm to 9.00 pm. Participation is free of charge but applicants need to register here with their pirate code or to get in touch with organisers through the event’s Facebook page to attend the conference.
