The comparison portal for financial products and services CompareAsiaGroup, cofounded by Austrian Gerald Eder (30), receives a Series-A investment round led by Goldman Sacks, Jardine Pacific, Nova Founders Capital as well as Silicon Valley Investors Marc Pincus (founder of Zynga) or Owen Van Natta (former COO of Facebook, Ex-CEO of MySpace).
„This support is a great recognition for our mission. […] We aim to empower the consumer by providing information about the financial sector and thus making the market more transparent,“ Gerald Eder, cofounder and CEO of CompareAsiaGroup said. CompareAsiaGroup is operating in eight countries and aims to make financial services easier and more transparent for a market of 750 million customers.
