The Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz invited 30 entrepreneurs and young enthusiasts to join him on a journey to Silicon Valley. The trip shall expose Austrian ventures to the American startup scene and give insights into its best practice examples. The delegation visits the Facebook headquater in Palo Alto, meets local incubators and international accelerators and mingles with young founders who tried, failed and succeeded on the way. Moreover, the experiences of the journey shall help Kurz to establish Vienna as a startup hotspot in Europe.
