Zsolt Egri, the dreamer of BitNinja. As the owner of a 12-year old hosting company, he is a real opinion leader in IT Security in Hungary.
Jozsef Palfi is his ’right hand’, doing all white hat hacking in the background.
And all that plus creativity comes from the marketing manager ninja girls, Viktoria Veréb and Boglarka Angalet.
Our office in looks like…
an original, historic, civic apartment in the heart of Debrecen with a little bit of twist. There are sci-fi relics and whiteboards everywhere, even in the dining room. And of course the centre of the office is the coffe machine and the table soccer.
The person that inspires us most…
is Richars Branson, definitely. He’s a real businessman to look up to and made a difference in this world. He left his mark and that’s the most we ever want to reach.

Before we started we were…
running a hosting company for 12 years. Our everyday battle against hackers inspired us to create BitNinja. We have hosted thousands of websites and operated more than 100 servers so we have great experience with server security issues by today. That is how we became passionate about hacker hunting.
We received our initial capital through…
We are ’self-funded’ at the moment.
Our most difficult time so far was…
A few years ago – back at the hosting company – we had an increscent problem: number of evolving cyber criminals was on the rise and more and more customers fell victim to hacked websites. One day we had a downtime of six hours ourselvesand decided to take control over this apocalypse. That day we started planning the BitNinja server defense system that solved out everything.
About little steps and big dreams.
Our next target is…
We have already blocked 90 million web attacks in six months. Our next target is to have more users and block 90 million attacks in three months. We really want to slow down the increasing number of hacker activities in the next years.
