The tech accelerator group CEED announced a 5 million euros grant from European Commission to support startups in CEE. As of today, their call for new software businesses that are looking for funding is open. While startups can apply until 15 December here, in 2015 a second call will follow.
With the help of the EU, selected startups will not only get three to six months of acceleration but also up to 30,000 euros in seed capital. Moreover, the most promising projects have the chance to receive up to 250,000 euros follow up investment. CEED Tech aims to support businesses and accelerate their launch. Czech StartupYard, Hungarian Digital Factory, Slovakian The Spot, Estonian Startup Wise Guys and Open Coffee Club in Lithuania are part of the Tech accelerator group that counts almost 100 companies to their portfolio.
