Codefront.io comes to Linz
Are you a front-end developer? A UI/UX designer? Or simply a web ninja? If you answered yes to any of those questions, get ready, set, go! Or book a flight – depending on your whereabouts – because the team that recently organised Kod.io is back in Linz and this time, you’re in for a treat.
Mark the day, 10 May, as this is when Codefront.io will take place, starting early in the morning at Johannes Kepler University.
Floor Drees, co-organiser of Codefront.io told inventures.eu that the one-day, four-track conference will cover the bleeding edge of technology with notable speakers such as “HTML know-it-all Mathias Bynens, [and] dartlang ambassador Thomas Schranz”, among others.
During the conference, masters of the web will discuss the latest web technologies such as HTML5 or CSS3, typography techniques and tips, and JavaScript libraries and frameworks. The day will end with an after party giving attendees the opportunity to meet and mingle with other like-minded people.
“We have a 38% female speaker ratio. Our international line-up features … speakers from Twitter, Google and Smashing Magazine,” Drees pointed to some of the highlights. Most of the speakers will talk about front-end development, but they are knowledgable about back-end as well, which is “amazing as these two fields are mutually exclusive, or they used to be at least, so we are content to see this shifting trend”, Drees added.
But this is not all. During the conference, Vitaly Friedman (editor-in-chief of Smashing Magazine) will host a workshop “Responsive Web Design: Front-end/Performance Perspective” aimed at those designers and developers dealing with responsive design regularly. Insights, practical techniques, tricks and strategies are just some of the perks of attending Friedman’s workshop.
The organisers of Codefront.io expect more than 600 participants, so if you want to be one of them, wait no more and get your ticket here.
