As a follow-up to our calendar of startup events from earlier this week, here are another few important dates to keep in mind in Austria.
The first Vienna edition of Women Techmakers will give the stage to female speakers in various tech disciplines. The organisers’ main target audience are (female) students of tech sciences and women in tech, but everyone with an interest in the field is welcome to attend. Register here, and follow them here.

Don’t miss this month’s Stammtisch by AustrianStartups – an evening full of startup discussions and networking. The guest speaker this time around will be Lukas Emberger, lawyer at Emberger Rechtsanwälte in Vienna and head of the GROW programme, who will talk about how to protect your business idea.

Ready for the Content Award Pitch? If you’re from Vienna and working on a digital production – anything from games to mobile and web applications, and you’re looking for the chance to win 5.000 euros from the Technology Agency of the City of Vienna (ZIT), then go ahead and apply. The Innovation Labs Hackathon in Cluj-Napoca will kick off with a pitching session where participants will get one minute to present their idea. Hungary
Startup Spring 2014 is planned asa series of events, including conferences, exhibitions, competitions and trainings focused on startups. If you want to be part of the Startup Spring Startup Competition, submit your application here by 14 March.
