The Slovenian startup Cashila, founded by Jani Valjavec and Tim Mitja Zagar, is the first company in the European Union to get a license for executing banking transactions via bitcoins. They have received the license from the Czech National Bank. While the first transaction has already been made, more are expected from Slovenia, Germany, Austria, as well as the Netherlands and France soon. The license is valid in all other European Union central banks which helps making paying your bills easier and faster. At the moment Cashila is closing its new investment round led by the Bulgarian Fund LauncHub which already invested in the startup in 2013.
