ESET opened a new cybersecurity center
Software antivirus vendor ESET has opened a new cybersecurity lab in Bratislava. This lab has been created in collaboration with the Slovak University of Technology and Comenius University and aims to be a pioneer project on the way towards a center for excellence in cybersecurity. As such, the lab should also serve as a training facility for university students, who will get lectures and training in reverse engineering from experts from the ESET in the upcoming semester.
The opening ceremony involved speeches of ESET executives, university dean and also a Slovak president. They all emphasised the importance of interconnecting eduaction with commercial sphere and articulated hopes to see much more activities of this kind in the near future.
