First success of How to Web MVP Academy graduates
In July, the first edition of the How to Web MVP Academy closed in a Demoday with 14 teams pitching on stage. Now, the first successes of the two months programme become visible. While exoskeleton manifacturers Axosuits, the winners of Startup Spotlight (read more here), secured its second round of funding, the health platform getFitter not only raised their first round but also was accepted to a US-based healthcare accelerator. Also events calendar service Qalendra closed two rounds of funding and was accepted to an acceleration programme in Seattle. Both, Lifebox and Pocketo were accepted to UK accelerator Ignite 100 and secured their first investment. Last but not least GloriaFood (read our profile here) got their first paying customers on board. In sum, the teams secured 207.000 euros total and four of the finalists are continuing to work on their projects in accelerators.
