French startups raise record-breaking €73.8M in one week

October 20-26 is a record-breaking week for French startups with €73.8 million raised among nine French startups, according to a report by Maddyness.
“With 73.8 million euros raised, this is the best performance recorded in a month,” reports Maddyness, adding that not one transaction was under the 1 million euro mark this week.
Medtech startup Padoa, which develops a solution to promote health at work, has distinguished itself this week with €20 million raised just two years after its creation. The French startup will take the opportunity to double its workforce and accelerate its commercial development.
Biotech startup Acticor, which develops treatments for the acute phase of thrombotic diseases, has raised €15.3 million, and Invectys, which seeks to cure chronic lymphocytic leukemia, has completed a round of €15 million.
Super-resistant smartphone manufacturer CrossCall also distinguished itself, raising €12 million.

Magnisense: €5 Million
Magnisense designs, develops and commercializes diagnostic tests for cardiovascular diseases using its proprietary MIAtek® technology and instrument.
Volta Medical: €2.3 Million
Volta Medical is a med-tech company that develops artificial intelligence algorithms for interventional cardiologists.
SailEazy: €1.7 Million
SailEazy proposes short and long-term self-service sailboat rentals, with or without your own skipper, as well as excursions into the Calanques.
