Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Skopje Mayor, UNDP Resident Representative in Macedonia and the Dean of FINKI, all gathered today to promote the innovative mobile application “Skopje Green Route”. The application is the result of cooperation between the UNDP, the City of Skopje, Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and FINKI. This application provides the information of how anyone can travel along the fastest, cheapest and most ecologically path in Skopje to the chosen destination.
The popular, innovative and advanced application willbring close Skopje and Macedonia to Europe and the world, using Google Transit, part of Google Maps, which allows users to plan trips to the city with public transportation, by providing guidelines for the closest bus stations and the most convenient routes.

Also this application is part of the fourth day of the European Week of mobility- massive campaign to promote sustainable modes of transport and will be presented to representatives of governments and public and private sector during a series of events associated with the United Nations summit on climate change, which will be held in New York on 23 September.
