Kairos CEE Venture Competition calls for applications
The first steps as a young venture can be hard and getting external validation is crucial for convincing others of your idea. With the Hungary-based Kairos Society you not only get the chance to compete with other projects but with a little luck you can present your idea to the outstanding audience of the Kairos Global Summit 2015 in California.
The competition focuses on CEE students under 26 and you can apply until 10 April if you are from one of the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
From Budapest to California
The local key event takes place on 8 May in Budapest and will only choose the best teams with the most ambitious business ideas. The teams will receive valuable feedback and trainings in order to make the best of their final pitch in Hungary. Not only investors and entrepreneurs from e.g. GE, Cisco, Sprint, IBM or Johnson & Johnson will be present at the global event in California but the winning team also gets the chance to meet Karios Society partners such as Richard Branson, Bill Clinton or Lynn Tilton.
The CEE Kairos Network aims to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to help innovative ideas getting stared. While they welcome ideas from different areas, a particular focus is put on healthcare, education, cleantech and disruptive technologies.
If you’ve found yourself in this programme and are looking forward for an opportunity to get your project out there, apply until 10 April here.
