Savings, family and good friends who believed in us.
The real pain about starting a business in Serbia is…
It is actually quite easy to start a business in Serbia. The state administration in 2005 (when Limundo was founded) was very effective and it even improved during the years. The biggest obstacle is in the minds of people: “I can’t do it, I am not good enough, I can’t fight against more experienced, powerful and better-off companies…” As soon as you get that out of your head, there will be no obstacles for you.
The person that inspires us is…
Any dedicated person, no matter what he or she does. Dedication and persistence inspire us.
The oneapp/service that we couldn’t live without is…
We really appreciate social networking. Limundo uses Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, G+ for the promotion of our products, but even more so for communicating with our users. That way, users know that they can count on us and our support at any time of the day (and night). We also invest a lot of our time and energy in our company blogs – Limundo and Kupindo blog.
The one thing we would save from our burning office is…
Our computers of course 🙂 And our plants and lazy bags, if we had time.
The worst piece of advice we ever got was…
When we first started our business, people used to say: “Who needs something like that in Serbia?! You will never make it work.” Luckily, they were wrong.
The one thing that will make us quit is…
I don’t think that something like that exists. Armageddon or a zombie apocalypse, maybe. 🙂
Our inside joke is…
Right now: our mascot teddy Radoje – our consultant when we are at a crossroads
You might not believe it, but we…
… came up with the company name working at an ice cream cafe. The name was written on a piece of wrapping paper (a napkin cliche).
We’ll call ourselves successful when…
I don’t think we will ever be completely satisfied. We can always improve; there is always room for growth, both in a personal and a business aspect.
The startup we really want to see on inventures’ Startup Pick is…
