PriceOn secures €300K investment
Buy two, get a third one for free. Today only: 20% off. Sale, sale, sale! Let’s face it, consumerism is omnipresent and landing a good deal makes us feel good – unless you find out that there would have been an even better offer.
Lithuanian startup PriceOn seems to have spent some time on retail marketing and consumer profiling as they just secured a 300.000-euro investment from LTk Capital for their price comparison platform.
PriceOn collects real-time prices for food, drink, and hygiene products and shares ongoing promotions with its users. “We provide business solutions to producers by letting them target their specific audience,” CEO Jurij Laneckij told inventures.eu.
Laneckij and partner Andrew Poznanskis founded the company in 2010,and released the first beta version in April 2012. Since then the website has had some 200.000 unique visitors and more than 100.000 mobile app downloads. Now, the team of 20 is ready for entering new markets. “We will use the money for further system development,” Laneckij said. “And we are preparing for expansion to Spain and Russia.”
Good luck, and sale away!
