Vienna-based ROBO is the winner of this year’s startup competition of the Austrian business magazine trend. While over 100 teams applied for the award, the jury consisting of Andreas Tschas (cofounder of Pioneers), Andreas Bierwirth (CEO T-Mobile) and Vanessa Voss (trend), among others, decided for the robotic toy for kids. Recent milestones of the venture include the participation at Haxl8r in Shenzhen, China, (read more here) or a ranking among the top eight startups of the Pioneers Challenge 2014. Currently the startup is part of the INiTS business accelerator in Vienna and will launch a crowdfunding campaign at kickstarter soon.
