Taking place this Saturday and Sunday, 30 Nov.-1 Dec., this is the country’s oldest entrepreneurship forum and this year, it promises more excitement than ever. “What is new this year is that we have a lot of foreign lectors, as well as different accelerators from Bulgaria and the rest of Europe, such as StartUP Bootcamp, #1seed and others,” said Martin Linkov, one of the event’s organisers and member of the StartUP Foundation.
Speakers include well-known names Shira Abel of Hunter & Bard, Jordan Schlipf of #1seed, Samer Karam of Seeqnce, Marc Wesselink of StartUP Bootcamp, Elvin Guri of River Styxx Capital and Stavros Messins of The Cube in Athens. The Bulgarian side is strongly represented by staples such as Dilyan Dimitrov from Eleven, Lyuben Belov from LAUNCHub, Alexander Mihailov from betahaus | Sofia and Svetlin Nakov from Software University.
Through a series of lectures, round tables, and practical seminars, the event will offer “great networking opportunities and first-hand stories by starting, successful and failed entrepreneurs,” promised Linkov. And with emotions still running hot locally, there may well be some political discussions, too.
