The Austrian medtech company secures itsfirst investment round from Upper Austrian HightechFonds. At the same time, the startup rebrands from „click for knowledge GmbH“ to „Symptoma GmbH“. „With the investment we pursue to grow globally […] and to further develop our technology and database,“ says Dr. Jama Nateqi, CEO and cofounder of Symptoma. Founded in 2007, the startup spent seven years on research and development and provides a search engine with over 20.000 diagnoses linked to symptoms and statistics. Symptoma has monthly profits in the mid five-digit euros range and aims to support physicians in finding causes and diseases.
