Until the end of the year, European startups will have many chances to network and meet potential investors. Summits, conferences, festivals – there are plenty of opportunities to rise and shine. We compiled a list of some of the biggest events to give you an overview:
Organised by TechCrunch, Disrupt Europe 2013 is a series of events. Kicking off with the Hackathon, hackers and developers will join teams to a hack a product in 24 hours. On 28 October, the main event will follow, and it will include speeches as well as the Startup Alley, where early-stage startups will show off their business ideas. A main attraction promises to be Startup Battlefield, where 20 startups will have the chance to pitch their projects. You can still buy tickets here.

As one of the biggest tech conferences, Web Summit will be your chance to network with investors, media and startups. This year’s Summit has announced some 10.000 attendees and over 300 speakers. The agenda is packed with speeches, workshops, and roundtables. The event is sold out but you can get on the waiting list for tickets here.

Where: Dublin
Taking place for the second time, Pioneers Festival promises to be even bigger and more spectacular than last year. You can be sure to get to know your dose of startup power: 40 hard- and software startups will exhibit their projects, 50 startups will get to participate in the Pioneers Challenge and 30 startups will pitch their ideas during the 90’’ elevator pitches. For the fifth time, the annual Webit Congress will bring together more than 8.000 attendees from some 100 countries. 200 speakers will talk during the 11 digital and tech-related conferences taking place during the two-day event. Tickets are still available here.

Aiming to foster the startup scene in Southeast Europe, the Balkan Venture Forum will bring together some of the biggest players from the region. The conference is an opportunity to meet investors and learn about the latest trends – and let’s not forget about the pitching event. Early birds can get tickets for 30 euros here.

At How to Web you’ll get to know about the latest global web trends, meet innovators and investors, and see what 32 CEE startups have in their repertoire during the live pitching event. Early bird tickets are still available here.

At the beginning of December, Startup AddVenture promises to fill the Ukrainian National Stadium, where some 3.000 entrepreneurs, techies, and investors will get together. Keynote speakers will include Dave McClure of 500 Startups, and Adeo Ressi, founder of Founder Institute. There’s also going to be a 25.000-euro startup competition, workshops and an expo. Because LeWeb Paris, a conference for startups and web entrepreneurs, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, the theme of this year’s event is “The Next 10 Years”. Listen to the speaker sessions, join the workshops and the startup competition. Early bird tickets are available until 22 November.
