About us.
Our one-line pitch is…
Lingohub makes it easy to localize your mobile or web apps through seamless integration into the development process
The core of our team…
Helmut Juskewycz (CEO, founder) has previously worked at Runtastic, Jumio and Siemens VAI. He started Lingohub as a result of his own experiences with software localisation. He was joined by Christian Danner (CTO) and Markus Merzinger (cofounder), both experienced software engineers.
Our office in looks like…
Our office in the Linz TechCenter is a cozy headquarter with glass doors, close to the beautiful Danube river, with nice neighbors and lots of sunlight.
The person that inspires us most…
It’s not even a person, it’s the Babel Fish from The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – the universal translator. We don’t intend to put an animal interpreter into everybody’s ear, but we want to power the interfaces that let entrepreneurs speak all languages.
About our journey so far.
Before we started we were…
bank tellers, video store clerks, poor students and Siemens VAI employees.
We received our initial capital through…
tech2b incubator and our founders’ own money
Our most difficult time so far was…
After launching, we struggled a lot to adapt the product to our customers’ needs as a live system. We learned a lot about priorities and service reliability, and how far we could push our team to deliver great value for our users.
About little steps and big dreams.
In five years we want to be the guys and girls who built the most successful and versatile set of translation tools for the internet.
Our next target is…
building the ultimate online office suite for translators. We call it LingoIO, and it will also offer an API, so it can connect to any digital service thinkable, providing the translators with jobs and an on-demand translation solution to basically any platform out there.
If you say investment we say…
vision
The one thing, we couldn’t go on without is…
We are inclined to say Red Bull, but “the cloud” is probably more accurate if we consider our products.
Our current development state is…
Scale
In five years we want to be…
the guys and girls who built the most successful and versatile set of translation tools for the internet, empowering translators and assisting people with great ideas in making them available to everyone in their native languages.
