Looking to provide your customers with a fun and easy-to-use loyalty programme? With a bonus? Or perhaps, mybonus?
The Vienna-based mobile loyalty startup won the annual prize by the Vienna Business Agency (Wirtschaftsagentur Wien) in the category “Best Startup” earlier this week. The team was awarded with 5.000 euros, which they can now use to further develop their project. According to co-founder Karl Josef Maier, though, mybonus do not strive for massive expansion, since they want to “stay lean.”
mybonus was founded in the summer of 2012 supported by a grant from Wirtschaftsagentur. Three months later, they had already secured 250 partner shops, as we reported back in November. The startup targets small- and medium-sized enterprises interested in providing their customers with a digital way of collecting “loyalty stamps” at their stores. All it takes is scanning a QR code, and saving it in the app. You can find out more about how mybonus works here.
Currently, the team is also participating in the Go Cambridge initiative by the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO). Alongside the other startup nominees for the Business Agency’s award were Delinski and Audienz.
