Train’rs gets you organised
Running a business calls for good organisation skills. Yet, being organised is not up everybody’s alley. This is why Serbian startup Train’rs recently launched an application for personal trainers, which helps them create personalised web pages and manages their business for them.
Train’rs was founded in January 2013 by Sinisa Komlenic as a means to provide fitness trainers the easiest way to create and maintain an online presence. “While I was working on projects for clients, one of them told me that there is no simple solution for running a personal trainer business that includes organising clients, training schedules, finances and a website. They needed to use some very complicated systems to solve very basic business problems,” Komlenic told inventures.eu. With this tool, users will have the opportunity to keep track of their businesses through four main services: a full-hosted website, client management, training schedule management and billing management.
The application offers two subscription plans; the website package (for 5 dollars a month), which comes with only the full-hosted website serviceand the full package (for 25 dollars a month), which will include all four features. At the moment only the first plan is available online, however, the startup is planning to launch the full package by the end of October. The way it works is quite simple: All users have to do is come up with their business URL, register on Train’rs website and let them do the dirty work. Before making a decision, personal trainers can use a 14-day free trial to test the service.
Komlenic seems to be getting things right. “Train’rs is completely bootstrapped and we already have a revenue,” he said. “I offered a launch promo for the first 50 personal trainers to sign up and receive a big 80% lifetime discount on the Train’rs subscription. So, instead of 25 dollars a month they will pay 5 dollars a month,” he added.
In the near future, the startup is planning to expand its team and start working on the mobile version of the application.
