Web Summit Pick: Adefy
Our one-line pitch is…
We’ve developed a new mobile ad format that dramatically reduces file sizes and removes performance limitations, along with a toolchain that makes it easy for agencies to build complex next-gen native ads.
What are your expectations for the Web Summit?
To take our startup to the next level, and get valuable connections (investors/customers).
What are your goals for the the Web Summit?
We’re currently raising a round of capital and looking for early adopters, so we aim to meet an interested investor or advertiser/publisher.
What market do you wish to disrupt?
Our mobile ad format is the smallest and fastest in its category. NRM supportsfluid 2D/3D animations in fullscreen, and we have the toolchain to back it up. From a tech standpoint, a native format like ours that can take advantage of bleeding-edge hardware features is the next logical step.
Why is the Advantage Austria Dublin mission to the Web Summit important?
The support provided to startups looking to go to the summit is invaluable, since it provides them with an opportunity for massive industry exposure, including potential partners and investors. An opportunity that would likely be too costly otherwise.
Who is going from your startup and why?
Our two founders are coming, Cris Mihalache and Emanuel “Manu” Cinca. Cris is our Project Director, and Manu is our Marketing Manager.
Which speaker do you most want to hear at the Summit and why?
Elon Musk, because his vision and goal in life is fantastic and inspirational (making life multi-planetary). The other reasons are obvious.
If you could choose an Austrian startup to win the Web Summit PITCH competition, which one would it be?
Flatout Technologies! Their product is fantastic, essentially turning your home/office into a cloud of devices you can interact with via a standardised API. Think appsfor your house.
